2010 Performers
Amy Dalley: Hmm what can I say about me? I guess I will start with the highlights (I will skip over the low lights...)
I grew up in Kingsport Tennessee. As far back as I can remember, I sang. When I was really young, I would put on shows for the family. My Mom would make herself comfortable on my waterbed (oh come on, it was the 80s...everybody had one!) and I would sing every song I knew. She would give me pointers and pretend that she was the judge...long before American Idol. I imagined that I was on a big stage with spotlights and fog and millions of screaming fans. When the song was over, I would open my eyes and there would be just my Mom, sitting on the waterbed, sipping coffee, smiling. I sang in talent shows, weddings, contest...whatever I could do to satisfy the dream whenever it fit into my packed schedule of cheerleading, soccer, swim team, friends...you name it, I did it... Ben Robinson: 'Best Served Loud'
Ben Robinson has been booked on such shows as The Late Show with David Letterman, Donny and Marie, Martin Short and he even pulled a stint with super drummer Tony Royster Jr. in the Nickelodeon super band produced by Paul Shafer. Of Ben's performance on the Letterman show Paul stated privately, and of course we are declassifying it, "Of all the guests that have ever sat in with the band, no one has ever done it like Ben". Commenting on a recent performance, Legendary guitarist Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top fame, had this to say about Ben, "I have seen a lot of smokin hot blues guitar players in my day, but I ain't never heard anyone like Ben".
With his new CD release BEN ROBINSON, Ben is getting ready to make his mark on the Blues / Rock World in a huge way! |

kLoB: is a Jacksonville, Florida, 5-piece band, together in one way or another for 10 years. Animated vocals bend genres, appealing to both young and mature, that is catchy and entertaining while still saying something worthwhile. The lyrics flow with a coy sort of witticism. A tongue and cheek transfer of life experience that relates to the daily grind on planet Earth. These guys play soul music for the upside down blues man, because as hard as it may seem, the song can get you through it. Hard working music by hard working players. |

Motor City Josh: Having played all over the US and in Europe since 1989, his fan base continues to grow and grow, as do his CD sales. Josh has recorded 7 albums and sold over 30,000 copies. Josh is popular for both his award winning (International Blues Finalist 2003) foot stomping down-home Blues solo acoustic act, and his electrifying ‘funky blues you can’t refuse’ 4-piece band.
The Detroit native spent 10 years working up an MCJ frenzy in the Motor City area, then moved to Atlanta in 1999 to do the same. In 2003 he moved to Chicago, where he recruited bassist extraordinaire, Chris Douglas. After a year in Chicago, he moved back to Detroit where he then enlisted the services of Joe Neely on keyboards and Matt Kelly on drums. Now, Motor City Josh & the Big 3 are at it again, doing what they does best…. making people smile, dance, laugh and get high on life.

Out of Hand is an intense listening experience. Rick Grant of the Entertaining U writes, "The tightest bar band with a horn player in the region." Their versatility marks Out of Hand as one of few bands that can accommodate most club atmospheres in Northeast Florida.
Though the band is still relatively fresh, there are some experienced musicians that came from totally different roots and have played with reputable artists.

Bill Wharton (Sauce Boss) a.k.a "The Sauce Boss", is a favorite attraction at blues festivals, state fairs, and clubs all over the country for two reasons: He's a wonderful player and singer, and he cooks up a mind-blowing gumbo right on stage, passing out the tasty results at set's end . . . Wharton's slide guitar is always innovative, and his high baritone matches the tunes perfectly. . . However, it could be the eatin' side of things that will permanently hook you into the Sauce Boss's universe . . ." BLUES REVUE MAGAZINE
Jimmy Buffet sings about him in "I Will Play for Gumbo", he's appeared on NPR's "All Things Considered", the Morning Show, CNN, and television's EXTRA. He's also been featured in "Living Blues", "GQ", and "Gourmet Magazine". |
